UK Collection & Delivery

We offer same-day collection from any mainland UK address using our insured courier partners. Once your repair is complete and has passed our quality control checks, your projector will be carefully packaged and dispatched for return delivery. Typical delivery time after repair is 1 to 2 business days for mainland UK addresses. For remote areas of Scotland and offshore islands, delivery may take 2 to 3 business days. Our courier partners provide full tracking throughout the delivery process, and you will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your item is dispatched.

Ireland Collection & Delivery

Our Dublin service centre provides fast and efficient collection across the Republic of Ireland. Whether you are based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, or anywhere else in Ireland, we can arrange prompt collection of your Barco projector. Typical delivery time after repair is 1 to 2 business days within the Republic of Ireland. For Northern Ireland, we can service through either our Doncaster or Dublin centre depending on which is most convenient for you. All Irish shipments are handled by trusted local courier partners with full insurance coverage.

EMEA Shipping

We accept international shipments from most European, Middle Eastern and African countries. Our logistics team can provide customs documentation and guidance to ensure your equipment moves smoothly across borders. For EMEA clients, we recommend using a freight forwarder experienced in handling sensitive AV equipment. We can work with your preferred logistics provider or recommend one of our trusted partners. Shipping costs vary by destination and equipment size, and we will provide a shipping quote as part of your repair estimate. All international shipments are packed to ISPM 15 standards for wooden packaging where applicable.

Packaging Requirements

Projectors must be packaged in their original manufacturer packaging where possible. The original packaging is designed specifically to protect the projector during transit and provides the best protection against damage. If original packaging is not available, we can supply custom packaging for oversized units at an additional cost. All optical components must be wrapped in anti-static material to prevent electrostatic discharge damage. We strongly recommend removing any detachable lenses and packing them separately in padded lens cases. If you are unsure about how to package your equipment, please contact us for guidance.

Insurance

All shipments arranged by Wells Electronics Ltd are fully insured against loss or damage during transit. Our insurance coverage extends up to the declared value of the equipment, which we ask you to provide when booking your repair. For high-value cinema projectors, we recommend declaring the full replacement value to ensure adequate coverage. In the unlikely event that damage occurs during shipping, we will work directly with our courier and insurance partners to resolve the claim promptly. Please note that any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for an insurance claim.

Tracking

Once your repaired projector is dispatched from our service centre, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your shipment on our Tracking page or directly through the courier's website. Tracking information typically includes collection confirmation, transit updates, and delivery confirmation with signature. If you have not received your tracking number within 24 hours of being notified that your repair is complete, please contact us and we will provide the details immediately.

Costs

We aim to make our shipping services as cost-effective as possible for our customers. For the UK mainland, we offer FREE collection and return shipping on all standard repair jobs. For Ireland, we offer FREE return shipping to our Dublin hub; collection may incur a small charge depending on location. For EMEA and international destinations, shipping costs are calculated on a per-destination basis and will be included in your repair quote. Any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees for international shipments are the responsibility of the customer.
