Preparing Your Projector for Safe Shipping

To ensure your equipment arrives at our workshop safely, please follow these strict packaging guidelines. Improper packing is the leading cause of transit damage.

Packing Requirements

  • 1. Case Selection

Flight Cases are preferred. If you do not have the original flight case, use a heavy-duty 3-ply double-wall cardboard box. Do not use thin, single-wall boxes for heavy projectors.

  • 2. Internal Protection

If using a cardboard box, the machine must be wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap (min 5cm thickness). Fill all voids in the box so the unit cannot move during transit.

  • 3. Remove The Lens

CRITICAL: If your projector has a removable lens, you MUST remove it. Pack the lens in its own separate box with ample cushioning. Leaving a heavy lens mounted can shear the lens mount.

  • 4. Strip Accessories

Remove all mounting gear, brackets, clamps, power cables, and data cables. We only require the projector chassis (and the lens, if suspected faulty).
